That bad smell in your washing machine is the first sign that it must be cleaned properly. Wondering where to start from? Well, you should know that you don’t have to rush in buying expensive cleaning products to get rid of this bad smell, because you already have what you need!

I’m talking about bleach and white vinegar.

GREAT ATTENTION: These two products shouldn’t be used together because they react chemically and are very toxic.

How to proceed?

First mix the bleach with a similar amount of warm water and wipe the accessible areas with a cloth. Also, wipe under the rubber band where the door seals. If there are areas where you can’t wipe with the cloth, leave the cloth soaked in this solution to act for 30 minutes so the bleach will destroy any trace of mold. Once you have finished this, go to the next step.

Add in the detergent compartment 100 ml of white vinegar and 400 ml of vinegar inside the washing machine ( without laundry in it), and start a washing cycle with a high temperature. Let it the washing machine do its job, and when it finishes you will see that there are no traces of mold nor bad odor.
