We use the washer daily, I can say, but have you thought that this particular household appliance needs to be cared for? Well, it does, if you don’t want smelly clothes and mold on the door seal.
It is easy to forget that bacteria and mold accumulate in the washing machine, preventing it from functioning properly and causing unpleasant odors.

This solution of white vinegar and lemon juice will disinfect the detergent compartments of the washing machine, as well as the stainless steel water tank, hoses and hard-to-reach areas.
These 2 ingredients remove the germs and bacteria that produce mold and neutralize the unpleasant odors.

🧴 Ingredients:
◾ 5 cups of water (1.2 liters)
◾ 1 cup of white vinegar (250 ml)
◾ ¼ cup of lemon juice (62 ml)

🧽 Tools:
◾ 1 spray bottle
◾ 1 cloth or 1 sponge

Method of preparation:
Heat the water and add the white vinegar.
Next, add the lemon juice and mix the ingredients.

How to use?
🟥 Take a small amount of the mixture and pour it into a spray bottle. Divide the remaining liquid into two equal portions: add one in the water tank and one in the detergent compartment.
🟨 Spray the liquid on the washer’s door seal and wipe the mold with a sponge.
🟩 To clean those hard-to-reach areas, start a short washing cycle so that the vinegar solution can work.
🟦Finally, open the washer’s door and let it dry. Your machine is now thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.
