When my cousin was a little child and she come visiting, I remember that it was chaos in my house. But one particular visit I remember perfectly, because she drew my curtains and drapes, along with the walls. I was shocked when I saw her masterpiece, and she was even more shocked about my reaction. How couldn’t I love her drawings? We are so busted! Mother is gone freak out!

And that’s when the process of covering up the stains started! After a brief search over the internet, I found a super effective solution to remove Sharpie stains of fabrics and walls.
Anyhow, in this article I will explain how to remove Sharpie stains of fabrics, curtains more precisely, because a simple wash won’t remove them.

So, you need:

– rubbing alcohol
– nail polish remover
– water
– cotton swabs
– paper towels or cotton cloths

How to proceed?

Well, at first begin by moistening a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol and gently try to remove the Sharpie stain. Then moisten a cotton cloth in water and gently try to dab the stain with it. Repeat this process if necessary.
In case if the above solution doesn’t work, you can use nail polish remover instead of rubbing alcohol. At the end, rinse with a damp cloth moisten in water.
