Rust on pipes and installations or radiators can be a problem, especially in the winter months, when a broken pipe disturbs more than one family. But you can prevent that from happening if you remove rust immediately, and I have the perfect solution for you!

Lime and salt

Although the procedure also goes with lemon, limes are more acidic, without being corrosive to the pipes. Sprinkle salt over the rusty place and squeeze a lime over the salt.
Remember: use salt to cover the entire rust, let it work for 2-3 hours, and then rub it with the lime peel. Don’t use a corrosive sponge, not to damage the pipe even more.

Remove rust from tools
If your pliers or other tools are rusty, just soak them in a diesel-filled tank. Let them soak overnight, and then remove rust with a wire brush.
Wipe the tools with a cloth and you can use you pliers again.
