Uuu, removing tree sap from your car is a real challenge, because this job gets tougher if you don’t act quickly. There is a cleaning say: the fresher the stain, the easiest to be removed.

So, I’m sure you don’t want to rub sap stains from your car after a week, because you will need time and lots of patience, even if you use the same technique. You better remove them in the same day, but don’t wait longer than 2 days.

You need:

– WD-40
– rubbing alcohol
– cotton cloths

How to proceed?

First of all moisten a cloth in rubbing alcohol and dab the stained area. Repeat this procedure until the tree sap stain is completely moisten, and add more alcohol if it’s needed.

Right after the tree sap stains have soften, apply a generous amount of WD-40 over the area, and wipe the surface with a clean cloth to remove as much tree sap as possible. Repeat the procedure if it’s needed.

Now, wash the stained area with detergent and water to remove residues, and at the end, dry the area with a soft cloth.
