The microwave gets dirty very quickly. Many dishes, when heated, splash onto the microwave walls. If you don’t want to use chemicals to clean it, and it’s not indicated, you can clean the microwave with natural ingredients.
Here’s what you need to do.
First option is baking soda
You can easily clean the microwave with baking soda. It’s not harmful and it’s one of the best natural disinfectants.
Just dissolve 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl with water, and add the bowl in the microwave. Start the microwave at high temperature for 3-4 minutes.
The water turns into vapors, and it will deposit on microwave walls, soaking the dirt. All you have to do next is to clean the microwave walls with a clean cloth. If necessary, repeat the process until all traces of dirt disappears.
Second option is lemon
The microwave can be cleaned very easily with 1 lemon. All that you have to do is cut a lemon into slices and add the slices in a bowl with water. Put the bowl in the microwave at high temperature for 5 minutes. Then, wipe the microwave walls with a clean cloth or a paper towel.
