When water in the sink is not being discharged as fast as before, the drain is probably clogged!
Before trying a corrosive solution, you better use the following homemade prep! I assure you that it will unclog the drain faster than any other chemical!

Here is what you need:

– paper towels
– 1/4 cup of baking soda
– 1/4 cup of salt
– 1/4 cup of potassium bitartrate
– 2 cups of boiled water

How to use this drain unclogging solution

Remove the accumulated water inside the sink and clean the drain hole using paper towels. Although it’s not a very pleasant task, food scraps or hair threads can hold back this homemade solution from unclogging the drain properly.

In a small container, mix baking soda, salt and potassium bitartrate. Salt and baking soda will dissolve the “plug” that clogs the pipe, while potassium bitartrate will deal the metal/plastic cleaning. Mix the solution well and pour half the amount on the drain.

Pour boiling water over it and let the solution work for about an hour. Next, let cold water run for a few minutes, and you should see an improvement in the leakage.

If the pipe is still clogged, it’s time to turn to a stronger alternative: pour a cup of baking soda on the pipe, followed by a cup of vinegar. These two substances create an effervescent reaction that can dissolve the plug that obstructs the pipe. Let the mixture work overnight, then pour 1/4 gallon of boiling water over it. Your kitchen drain is now unclogged and water will run freely.
