Keeping a nice and neat aspect of clothes, sometimes, seems a difficult task. As a mother, it’s a real challenge to remove the stains from my child’s clothes, and even from my clothes. Lately, I’m struggling with sweat stains. Everybody sweats, especially in summer, and after the wet stain is dry it remains that sweaty and yellowish deodorant stain in the underarm area. And it won’t go if you wash the clothes in the washer, unless you apply some simple and quite effective tricks.

Although there are way too many tricks available, only one works particularly great for me:

You need:

– 4 tablespoons of baking soda
– half a cup of water

Mix the above ingredients to form a smooth paste. You can add more baking soda if necessary!

How to use?
Now, apply the paste over the yellowish sweat stains and let it act for 2 hours, and then, remove the paste with a toothbrush (the paste will dry).

Now choose one of the following tricks to continue the stains removal process:
– pour vinegar directly on the stain and let it work for 5 minutes, then wash the clothing item or,
– mix equal parts of vodka and water and pour over the stain. Let it act for 5 minutes then wash the clothing item.
