Every housekeeper knows that kitchen cabinets get a thin grease film in time, which is extremely hard to remove. And if you try to clean that grease film with only water, you will waste your time. The same scenario happens when you try cleaning it with water and dish soap. On the other hand, you can resort to chemicals for removing that greasy and sticky film from your kitchen cabinets, but you will end up ruining the furniture.
Grease stains on kitchen cabinets are inevitable when cooking, no matter how cautious you are. After a while, they will turn into that greasy film which is extremely hard to remove. The most affected kitchen items are the hood, kitchen cabinets and the walls near the stove.
There is a crazy way to remove grease stains from kitchen cabinets with the help of oil, which dissolves grease.
Oil did the mess, well, oil will clean it!
– vegetable oil
– baking soda
Mix one part oil with two parts of baking soda to increase oil’s cleaning properties. Mix well until you get a paste.
How to use?
Apply the paste over the dirty and greasy film, and with the help of a clean cloth or a sponge, start rubbing the kitchen cabinets. You will see how the greasy film will be easily removed.
Use the same paste to clean cabinet handles.
Tip: Use a plastic dish sponge and rub each grease spot slowly.
At the end, remove all the dirt with a cloth soaked in warm water and dish detergent.
