Whoever cooks knows that on the kitchen cabinets a thin fat film is formed, because you don’t have to wait until it gets thicker, which is extremely hard to remove. And if you try to clean that grease film only with water, you will waste your time. The same scenario is when you try cleaning it with water and dish soap. On the other hand you can use chemicals to remove that greasy and sticky film from your kitchen cabinets, but, you will end up ruining your kitchen furniture.
Grease stains on kitchen cabinets are unavoidable when you cook, no matter how cautious you are. After a while they will transform in this greasy film which is very hard to remove, and the most affected kitchen items are the hood, kitchen cabinets and the walls near the stove.
Anyhow, there is a crazy way in removing grease stains from kitchen cabinets, using oil.
Oil did the mess, well, oil will clean the mess!
– vegetable oil
– baking soda
Mix one part of oil with two parts of baking soda to increase oil’s cleaning properties. Mix well until you form a paste with these ingredients.
How to use?
Apply the paste over the dirty and greasy film, and with the help of a clean cloth or a sponge, start cleaning the kitchen cabinets. You will see how the greasy film will be easily removed.
The same paste you can use it to clean kitchen cabinets handles.
Tip: I used a plastic dish sponge and I rub easily each grease spot.
At the end, remove all the dirt with cloth soaked in warm water with dish detergent.
